Trimming the White Pine

This White Pine was one of three “Live” Christmas Trees with root balls that were planted along the back fence over the years. I make the distinction between “Live” and the “Live Cut” trees most people buy during the holidays which I call dead trees. When I planted them, it seemed like there was plenty of room between them the and the fence. They certainly gained some girth over the decades. I might also add that pine sap is a real problem. I had to spend about an hour cleaning a brand new shirt with WD-40, degreasers and a couple of machine washes. The same goes for my hands and legs.
